How to Get Your Zeal Back

Focus Area: Staying the Course

At the beginning of any journey, you feel excited and energized as if you can conquer the world.  You have no fears or roadblocks, only the passion to see it to the end.  But then somewhere along your path, you grow weary and weak; you seem to lose your way.  Eventually, you give up.  Where did your energy and drive go?
How many times has this happened to you?  If more times you care to say, you can start by taking your big journeys and breaking them up into smaller ones. This makes them more manageable, and you feel more accomplished.

If you have lost the zeal you once had, here is how to get it back:

  1. Take a current journey or one you plan to start soon and break it up into 2-4 mini-journeys.
  2. Give each a name, purpose, and plan.
  3. Work them individually until you have completed your entire journey.

Go ahead, give it a try.
Here’s to a higher success rate!
