Hey! Hope everyone is doing well. Last week we learned some things about ourselves. This week, we are going to embrace, loving ourselves. We often believe that if we put ourselves first, we are being selfish. Let’s take this journey together, to love ourselves more, so we can be more effective at loving others.
~ Scripture to Memorize ~
No one hates his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as Christ cares for the church.
~ Ephesians 5:29 NLT
~ Challenge to Accept ~
We often believe that if we put ourselves first, we are being selfish. We then become less valuable to ourselves and our self-esteem decreases to an unacceptable low.
It is important to learn to love ourselves, if we are to effectively love others. From last week’s Inspirational Monday, you should have a pretty good idea of what you enjoy. Either choose from what was recorded or acquire ideas from the worksheet here (It’s FREE!). It has ideas on both tangible and intangible ways to love yourself. Alternatively, you can check out our blog - "Loving Yourself" Journey.
Pick one daily and enjoy!
~ Prayer to Pray ~
I thank You so much for loving me, unconditionally. It is such an honor to be called Your child. You love me so much, that You sent Your one and only Son to die for me, so that I may have a relationship with You. And for that, I will be forever grateful. As I learn to love myself, the way You love me, please help me keep the guilty feelings away. Help me to enjoy my time with myself as I embrace and love ME.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Hope you enjoy your “me” time.
