Your Pivotal Moment

Focus Area:  Identify Your Obstacles

Either during or after an unhealthy relationship, everyone has (or will have) that pivotal moment when they tell themselves, “enough is enough.”  When they are tired of going through the same emotions and not understanding why they feel the way they feel or doing anything about it.   It is in that moment that defines their trajectory going forward.

Juanyta had a pivotal moment when she realized her ex kept hold of her mind long after they separated.  This propelled her to research how that was possible and that’s when she learned the ins and outs of controlling people.  This was precisely what she needed to begin the healing process and become unstuck.

So, what was your pivotal moment?  Why are you here today?  This too can be your steppingstone to emotional freedom.

To better understand what you are dealing with, answer the following questions:

  1. Describe your breaking point?  If you don’t believe you have that true moment yet, think about a recurring situation that causes you the most unhappiness.
  2. What were/are your feelings in your moment of unhappiness?  What specifically had/has you confused, frustrated, and/or angry?

As a suggestion, after answering these questions, research your listed emotions for better understanding.
