Focus Area: Reconnecting with Yourself
Raise your hand if you’ve found the perfect spot (physically, virtually, or figuratively) that sparks creativity and allows you to be one with your craft.
As you know, I’m a writer. Generally, I write in various places in my home and incidentally, in the car, during halftime at bball games, or while walking - yes, inspiration has no boundaries. But recently, I’ve been on a hunt to find a place where I can creatively connect with my words.
The obvious choice was Starbucks, but I'm not a coffee or tea drinker. Next, was the library, but that seemed too much like a work-work environment. The park…well that would only suffice if the weather was perfect and there were no bugs to distract me.After analyzing many internet’s proposals and testing a few out, I finally found my zen spots!
A restaurant with a glass of wine and on a train!
Me, in heavenly bliss! 😍
What about you? Have you found your spot as well?
If so, I want to hear all about it! I want to know the who, the what, the where and the why! (Shoot me an email)
And if you haven’t, we have GOT to find it!
There is nothing more precious than having places to go, materials to read, and/or people to connect with to promote creative inspiration. It adds an extra layer of awesomeness to your already fulfilling passion!
So, how do you find your zen spot?
Typically, I offer you ideas. But since I don't want to put a limit on your interests, I'll pass on the attempt. Instead, I'll lean on the help of our good friend, Google.
Open up Google and try these searches:
- Best place to/for [insert your interest]
- Places that spark creativity
- Best places for [insert your interest] inspiration
- Creative inspiration for [insert your interest]
Write down what resonates and give them a try. If it makes your heart beat faster, it’s a keeper!
Have fun exploring!
